KEISUZUKI's New Pursuit of “Semi-Couture” in Paris
atelier KEISUZUKI (Japan) will open the exhibition salon “KEISUZUKI salon de PARIS” in the Marais district of Paris for three days from September 30 to October 2, in conjunction with the Paris Collection. The concept of the salon is “a showroom to display the new collection and a salon for personal orders,” and it will feature the new 25SpringSummer original collection as well as the basic collection of custom-ordered items that are available at the Yokohama Atelier Salon and at pop-ups in various locations. The store also accepts personal orders of one piece at a time, as well as pret-a-porter orders from buyers. The brand also offers original fragrances and collage art by designer Suzuki, who cuts and pastes waste paper, and is committed to proposing a new range of elegance and quality lifestyle, utilizing the aesthetic sense that KEISUZUKI has cultivated since its establishment in Japan in 2013.
A showroom and atelier salon, that is “KEISUZUKI salon de PARIS
The idea of opening a salon in Paris was conceived a year ago. atelier KEISUZUKI was founded in 2013 as a women's custom-order brand, and since then, They have been working on the idea that “the scenery of your city will become more elegant if each and every woman on the street has a greater sense of beauty. If each woman's sense of beauty is raised, “the scenery of your city will become more elegant”. The founder and designer Suzuki says, “We started by thinking about what we can do in the city of Paris. He had long admired and dreamed of the elegant designs of Christian Dior, who was born in Paris in 1946, and whose “meticulous and careful work and setting the guidelines of the times” underpinned his designs, and he came up with the concept of “an exuberant and beautiful silhouette like a wedding dress. The concept was to “create a beautiful silhouette with the exuberance of a wedding dress. After much trial and error in designing a dress that would embody this concept, he converged on a custom-made style that offers a 360-degree silhouette balance, a combination of fabrics and forms, and semi-customization. The salon does not carry ready-to-wear items, but instead offers personalized orders and customized orders from buyers according to their tastes and preferences.
Unveiling of 2025 SpringSummer collection
The SS25 collection, which will be presented in a salon space, will be presented in conjunction with the Paris collection season.
The theme of the collection is “Eternity of a moment that defies gravity and jumps up,” and the clothes incorporate elements reminiscent of wedding dresses in terms of form, material, and decorative theme. The theme of the collection is “Gravity makes the fabric fall down. It gets pulled down by the earth. It takes power to rise up from it or jump up. Some people are always positive and can inspire themselves, but not all of them. If clothes existed instead in a way that defied gravity from the start, just wearing them would lift one's spirits and allow one to start the day on a high note. says Mr. Suzuki. The three-dimensional forms and silhouettes are well-defined, and the works are filled with tension in a good sense of the word.
We want to make forever the moment when we defied gravity and jumped up.
For the SS25 collection, we used couture techniques in the form,The materials and decorative themes incorporate elements reminiscent of wedding dresses.
Dress-up style traditions and its updates
Passing through the entrance space, the Basic Collection room unfolds. What is impressive in this area is the assortment of coat dresses and spring coats available in different colors. It is fun to compare completely different looks in different materials and colors, such as Mikado, satin, and other glamorous materials. This standard series, which is familiar at department stores and pop-ups in Japan, has received high praise from buyers who say, “”KEISUZUKI is a timeless occasion style that can be proposed to customers who seek authenticity and essence without being influenced by fast-paced trends. The buyers also highly appreciate the excellent products. The waiting time, which takes three months from the time of order, is also enjoyable.

Art that questions the “meaning” of meaning
Designer Suzuki says, “One day, I picked up envelopes and notes that I no longer needed and put in the burnable trash, and cut and pasted them carelessly into this abstract art. During the creation process, he says, he had a continuous battle with the voice in his head that kept ringing in his head, asking “What is the meaning?” Why cut it into that shape? Why do we put that color on it? What meaning does it have? .
While there is a part of me that is not convinced that there is no meaning or usefulness to what he creates in this way, on the other hand, I wanted to talk about “What remains when you nullify the meaning, when you remove all meaning?” He says that he wanted to give form to the idea of “what is left when meaning is nullified and all meaning is removed?
Expectations are high for his ambitious art series, in which he reconstructs useless scrap wood and questions its meaningfulness in the present age.
Fragrance <byKEISUZUKI>
Also unveiled was the “by KEISUZUKI” line of made-in-Japan fragrances scheduled for release next spring.
Four types of fragrances will be developed based on the theme of layering and essence of fragrances that bring out one's inner essential charm. When you are in touch with nature and the mystery unfolds within you, the tranquility of the outside has been essential, but at the same time, what you find inside can be passion, gratitude, devotion, contribution, and the strength to take on the future,” says Suzuki. We hope you enjoy the fragrance series, which is themed on the journey toward one's inner essence, moving back and forth between the concrete and the abstract.
